Bibi’s Battle

She was found barely clinging to life—too weak to lift her head, her tiny body emaciated and broken. A compassionate bystander saw her motionless and called for help. We responded and the moment we saw the extent of her injuries, we knew we had to act quickly.

Bibi had suffered unimaginable cruelty. Her ribs were fractured, her spine damaged, and her bruised skin told the story of prolonged, deliberate harm. A BB pellet was discovered beneath her skin—a chilling sign of what she had endured.

Our medical team worked tirelessly to stabilize her—administering fluids, slowly reintroducing food, and gently encouraging her to stand. With each passing day, Bibi fought harder. Her will to live shone through.vbg

Today, Bibi is not just surviving—she is thriving. Safe in a loving home, she is learning to trust again and discovering all the simple joys she was once denied. Now at a much healthier weight and full of life, Bibi loves chasing tennis balls at the beach, splashing in the waves, and soaking up the sunshine. With her energy restored, every day is a new adventure – she’s even started making new friends, including a few curious horses she met along the way!
