The Power of Light: Supporting Our Dogs with Red Light Therapy
At Big Dog Ranch Rescue, providing our dogs with the best possible care means continuing to explore new ways to support their comfort, recovery, and overall well-being. From veterinary care to rehabilitation, every part of a dog’s journey with us is centered around helping them feel their best as they prepare for a new beginning.
Thanks to a generous donation from AnimaSol, we now have another tool to support that mission through red and near-infrared light therapy.
What Is Red Light Therapy?
Red light therapy, also known as photobiomodulation, uses specific wavelengths of red and near-infrared light that interact with the body at the cellular level. This non-invasive technology can be used as part of a broader wellness routine to support recovery, mobility, circulation, and overall comfort.
AnimaSol’s technology is designed to reach both surface-level areas and deeper tissues, supporting areas such as the skin, muscles, joints, fascia, and tendons.

Bringing Light-Based Wellness to Our Dogs
AnimaSol, previously known as EquiSol, develops light-based technology designed for animals and their caretakers. Their DogSol Red and Near-Infrared Light Therapy Blanket provides comfortable, full-body coverage and can be used to support mobility, recovery, circulation, and general wellness.
Having access to tools like this gives our team another way to complement the care our dogs already receive while they are with us.

A Meaningful Gift for Our Rescue Dogs
We are incredibly grateful to AnimaSol for donating a red light therapy vest to Big Dog Ranch Rescue. Donations like this help us continue expanding the resources available to dogs with many different backgrounds and needs.
Whether a dog is receiving veterinary care, working through rehabilitation, or benefiting from additional wellness support, our goal remains the same: to give every dog the opportunity to thrive.
Having access to innovative tools like red light therapy allows us to continue exploring thoughtful, non-invasive ways to enhance the care and comfort we provide.
Because sometimes, giving a dog a brighter future can start with a little light. ❤️🐾
