Meet SKY, a five-year-old Weimaraner who has experienced both the pain of loss and the joy of love in her life.
Sky comes from a sad situation—she once had a home where she was loved and well cared for. However, her owner could no longer provide for her needs, so she was sadly surrendered and taken into our care here at Big Dog Ranch. Now, she is adjusting to the unfamiliar world of shelter life.
Despite her challenges, Sky has shown nothing but kindness to our team and the other dogs here at BDRR. She has also revealed her intelligence, sensitivity, and calm, content personality. Our team and volunteers have observed that she doesn’t do well with cats and prefers the quiet companionship of humans. She would thrive in a home without children.
Thanks to the generosity of our donors, we are able to provide care and love for sweet dogs like Sky. We’re so grateful for your support. Sky is just one of many dogs at Big Dog Ranch who are ready and excited to find their loving forever homes.
