The mass migration into America isn’t just a human tragedy anymore. Thousands and thousands of dogs left behind by immigrants are roaming the streets freezing, hungry, injured and even giving birth. These discarded dogs are hit by cars, shot, and attacked with machetes as they try to simply survive.​

Big Dog Ranch Rescue just returned from another border mission and we can report the situation is dire. We discovered an entire shanty town of over 70,000 migrants living in squalor at Colony Ridge outside of Houston, Texas. A city the size of Washington, D.C. has sprung up along with third world living conditions. Abandoned dogs are starving and freezing. Moms are trying to protect their pups and corpses of dead dogs are everywhere. Americans love dogs and we cannot let these dogs die in front of our eyes.

We Can’t Do It Alone

$1000 provides transport for 10 dogs so we can bring these dogs to safety and get them into families who want to adopt them.

$2,500 will help us buy 40 bags of food to feed hundreds of starving border dogs.

$5,000 will provide medical care for dogs hit by cars, machetes, and suffering other trauma.

$10,000 will help us build a shed to house dogs from the freezing cold and will provide a safe holding place until rescue can pick them up.

$25,000 sends a rescue team to pick up 100+ dogs/puppies and vet them to be ready for adoption.

$50,000 helps sponsor a spay / neuter van so we can stop the roadside births and end needless suffering and starvation.

Colony Ridge Cleveland, Texas

Big Dog Ranch Rescue is on a critical mission in the face of a dire situation unfolding at Colony Ridge, Texas. Hundreds of dogs are trapped in a border nightmare, facing conditions that no animal should ever endure.We've already made strides by purchasing a 16x24 shed for independent rescuer Zully Valsquez, featured prominently in our video. However, our work is far from over. We urgently need to outfit this shed with necessary insulation, flooring, electrical wiring, plumbing, air conditioning, and kennels. These modifications are crucial to transforming these spaces into climate-controlled shelter, offering a safe refuge for mothers and their puppies until they can be safely rescued. These missions are vital for providing shelter, medical care to these dogs and removing them from harm's way.

In an exciting collaboration, PAWS CHICAGO has joined us to launch a mass mobile spay-neuter program, addressing the root of the problem and preventing future generations of dogs from facing the same nightmare. Big Dog Ranch Rescue is gearing up to return to the Texas border next week, committed to rescuing dogs left behind at the border.
