Megan is a sweet 1-year-old dog who has already been through so much in her short life. She was brought to us after being hit by a car and was transferred between several veterinary clinics as she received urgent care for her injuries.

When she arrived at Big Dog Ranch Rescue, our team gave her the medical attention and support she needed. Her back left leg was badly injured, and for a while, it was kept in a cast and carefully bandaged. Despite all efforts, Megan began having seizures, and her leg wasn’t healing as hoped. On May 7th, she underwent surgery, and her back left leg was amputated to give her the best chance at a healthy future.

Megan is now under close veterinary care and is being monitored around the clock. Through it all, she has remained gentle, loving, and strong. Thanks to our incredible supporters and donors, we’ve been able to give Megan the treatment she needs and the comfort she deserves.

She’s on the road to recovery, and we’re hopeful for what’s ahead.

Even when he was in pain or feeling weak, he just kept pushing forward, focusing on what he *could* do and setting small goals for himself. He never once let it define him, and seeing his resilience in action was truly inspiring. It makes me think about…

This title really hit home for me. It reminded me of my uncle, who lost the use of his legs after an accident years ago. For a while, he was incredibly down, understandably so. It felt like his whole world had shrunk to the four walls of his home https://adstandards.com.au/codes-and-cases/codes But slowly, he started to find new ways to engage with life. He took up painting, something he’d always wanted to do but never had the time for before. He also became a huge advocate for accessible public spaces, attending town meetings and writing letters. It was amazing to see him find such purpose and joy again, proving that even after a life-altering event, the spirit can absolutely endure and…

Modern digital navigation systems offer Driving Directions many improvements over their analog predecessors, including the ability to display traffic conditions in real-time, optimize routes, provide anticipated travel times, and eliminate the need for paper maps, handwritten notes, and frequent support stops.
