Mama Moo Cow was found wandering a farm in Miami Dade County, she was scared, tired, and visibly pregnant. With no one to care for her and 13 puppies on the way, this soon to be young mom needed love and support.

Thankfully, Big Dog Ranch Rescue was able to help just in time.

Now, Mama Moo Cow no longer has to face motherhood alone. She's safe, warm, and surrounded by a caring team and volunteers who are ready to help her every step of the way. From vet care to access to proper facilities and nourishment, she is receiving the love she deserves.

On May 8th, around 5 a.m., Moo Cow underwent an emergency C-section. Thanks to the support of our veterinary team, she was able to safely bring her puppies into the world. Unfortunately, only nine survived, and they are now being lovingly cared for by Moo Cow and our dedicated team.

Thanks to the incredible support and generous donations from our community, we’ve been able to provide the care and nourishment these precious puppies need—and soon, they’ll be ready for adoption.

But let’s not forget about Mama Moo. She endured a traumatic and heartbreaking birth, and while her puppies are healing, so is she. Moo Cow gave everything to bring them into this world, and now she needs something in return—a gentle, loving home where she can rest, recover, and be cherished like she deserves.
