Mama Moo Cow's Journey to Motherhood

Moo Cow, when we found her

Mama Moo Cow was discovered wandering a farm alone in Miami-Dade County. She was scared, exhausted, and heavily pregnant. With 13 puppies on the way and no one to care for her, she faced an uncertain and frightening future.

Thankfully, we stepped in just in time. We brought her to safety and gave her a quiet, comfortable space in our Puppy Cabins where she could finally rest and prepare for birth. Surrounded by warmth, compassion, and expert care, Mama Moo Cow was no longer alone.

In the early hours of May 8th, she underwent an emergency C-section. Our veterinary team acted quickly, and nine of her 13 puppies survived. Against the odds, Mama Moo Cow and her little ones pulled through.

Today, her puppies are thriving in their forever homes, and Mama Moo Cow’s journey reminds us why our mission matters—to give every dog the chance at love, safety, and a future.
