A New Life for Lucielle

When Lucielle's owner passed away, her world was turned upside down. Left outside without her puppies, she struggled to survive on her own. By the time a neighbor noticed and brought her to us, Lucielle was scared, overwhelmed, and covered in scars and open wounds from fights with other dogs. As if that weren't enough, she was also diagnosed with heartworms, a dangerous illness requiring intensive treatment.

Her story could have ended there, but fate had other plans. A loving family up north saw past her pain and gave her the second chance she so desperately needed.

Today, Lucielle is thriving in her forever home. She spends her days soaking up the sun, chasing after toys, and enjoying the safety and comfort of a real home. Her scars- both inside and out are healing more each day.

Lucielle's journey is a reminder that even the hardest of beginnings can blossom into beautiful chapters quickly when given the chance to shine.
