Dog of the Month!
This handsome island boy made his way to us all the way from the Bahamas, and from the moment he got here, it was clear he had a lot of love to give. Pookie is a medium-energy pup who knows how to enjoy the good things in life: a nice walk, relaxing by your side, and spending time with his canine friends. He's the kind of dog who's just as happy on an adventure as he is settling in for a cozy evening. He's housetrained, walks well on a leash, and has an easygoing personality that makes him a great companion for just about anyone.
Pookie does especially enjoy mealtime, and he appreciates having his own space while he eats. Outside of that, he's happy to socialize and share his days with other dogs. Whether you're heading out for an adventure or curling up for movie night, Pookie is ready to be your loyal sidekick.
