K9 - Care Specialist

We are looking for an experienced K-9 Care Specialist. To qualify for this role, the candidate must have a positive attitude and a genuine love for dogs of all shapes and sizes. In this role, you do more than cleaning and disinfecting our kennels – you will also learn animal care and behavior basics while assisting our team with feeding, and walking tasks. Having previous experience in a pet care environment or kennel management is a plus, but we will provide training to the right candidate.

Shelter Veterinarian Surgeon

We are looking for an experienced Shelter Veterinarian Surgeon. Primary Responsibility is spay/neuter surgeries, C Sections, tumor removal, mammory mass removal, cherry eye surgery. 5 or more years of experience in Veterinary Medicine. Must have or be able to obtain a license to practice Veterinary Medicine in the State of Florida. DEA License or ability to attain. USDA Category I certification.
K-9 Trainer

Under the direction of the Service Dog Training manager and general supervision of the assigned Lead K9 Trainer, the K9 Trainer is responsible for independently implementing all elements of assistance dog training, including reading canine body language, training procedures, environmental awareness, application of learning theory and related modalities, use of training equipment, training task skills, canine evaluation, assessment and reporting.
Custodian Maintenance Worker

Overall duties will include removing debris, maintaining common areas, cleaning/restocking bathrooms, delivering supplies to various buildings & cleaning/sanitizing dog kennels. You will inspect various equipment and perform any basic repairs or preventative maintenance as needed. You will assist the lead maintenance tech with some projects, but should be able to work independently.
