2017 was the most productive year in our history. Phase One of our 33-acre, cage-free, 65,000 square foot campus is nearly completed. While we continue to serve animals wherever the need is greatest, we also work to create the prototype of what every rescue should be.
Phase One is concentrated on our immediate needs; shelter, medical treatment, housing, adoption and care of our dogs. Phase Two takes Big Dog Ranch Rescue to the next level with a focus on education, general boarding and boarding for active military, a training center for canine companions of PTSD veterans and community services that will make the ranch a true destination for animal lovers. A 10,000 square foot education and event barn, boarding facility, visitor center with general store and other elements are designed to generate funds to help make the ranch and our work sustainable.
To accomplish all that we do and to save the number of dogs we rescue each year, it takes utilities, medical supplies, transport vans and a variety of operational expenses. Additional funding is necessary to build out the campus and outfit with needed facilities. With your support, we will realize the dream and complete the campus built for the love of dogs.
